While people might have different motives for joining the VGAs, our participation jointly works toward a common goal of helping the industry evolve, and to make it welcoming and accessible to as many people as possible.Jason Senior Gameplay Programmer, Splash Damage
For me though, the biggest draw in being a VGA is putting a diverse face on the industry to hopefully inspire more people from different backgrounds to join us – the games industry can only get stronger from having a huge range of voices joined to it, giving more interesting opinions and stories that will keep video games relevant and thriving for many, many years to come.Reese Senior Producer, Robot Teddy
The VGAs has my job of facilitating outreach easier. Now I can log onto the platform, find suitable opportunities, share them with the studio and easily put the team in touch with the providers. During COVID times, when events have often been cancelled, it’s made being active in the community possible.Toby Community Manager, Dambusters
